Report: Searches

This overview provides detailed information about users’ search behavior in Comm’ant: what do they search for (keywords), how often, and if they find something, what do they find.

The overview is divided into three sections:

• Found search terms, gives an overview of the search terms that actually gave results.
  By default, this overview is sorted by the # found
• Not found search terms, gives an overview of the used search terms, where no result has been found, or where the user has not clicked on an Object from the search result.
• Found Objects, provides – per Object type – an overview of the Objects that were actually found with a search term because the user clicked on it. By default, this overview is sorted by the # found column, from high to low.

These overviews provide useful insights regarding how well certain information in Comm’ant can be retrieved. If there are many searches for a specific word but nothing is found, this can be a reason to pay attention to the content of specific Objects.

In addition, it also shows – in combination with the Viewed objects overview – what is going on in your organization.
